一、努力提高自身素质与修养。
作为一名记者，要有宏观意识，要胸怀大局，了解党和政府工作中的新精神和新要求，善于透过事物现象预见其本质和未来，从而挖掘出有社会价值的新闻题材。而要做到这些，就必须不断提高自已的各项素养。
为了提高政治素质，我要求自已做到：在思想上和政治上与党中央保持一致，坚持社会主义方向，我认为，记者讲政治最重要最根本的是坚持社会主义方向，还要做到正确宣传党的纲领、路线、方针、政策，加强群众观点，贯彻群众路线，重视政治理论学习。
记者心理素质包括：好奇心理、竞争意识、冒险精神和坚强的意志。这些心理素质是成为一名记者的必备条件。所以，我始终不忘提高自已的心理素质。
作为一名摄像记者，光有较强的政治和心理素质还远远不够，更要有过硬的业务素质。于是，我常常利用工作之余寻找各种与业务有关的资料，如《新闻学理论》、《采访写作的方法与技巧》等专业书籍，并不断对这些材料进行分析研究，取其精华、去其糟粕。还坚持每天认真观看各大电视台的新闻栏目，边学边实践，使自已学到的每一点先进技术都落到实处。

二、敢于吃苦，勇于实践。

“时间真的过得好快，时间真的不等人”。大学三年，我一觉还没睡醒就有人跟我说现在是XX年，突然发现，我就要毕业了，真的有些感慨，往事历历历在目!在这个假期中，给我感触最深的那就是第一次去体验生活，真正感受到人生的酸甜苦辣。也许对多数人来说这只是一个平淡的冬季。起初，大家都认为这一次的实习只不过是随便找个单位盖章然后应付交差。但是，今年寒假我不想让这个冬季平淡过去，我想通过这次实习了解社会，真正学到一些东西。我于11月26日武汉电视台百姓连线进行了为期2个月的专业实习，成为了一名实习记者。记得有句颇富有哲理的话，如果想知道梨的味道，就要亲自去尝一尝。这两个月的实习经历就是从不知梨味到体味其中酸甜苦辣的过程。除了体验到记者这个“无冕之王“职业所带来的乐趣与成就感之外，更多的是学到了一种认真严谨的工作态度，与人沟通的能力和获得了一份宝贵的人生经历。
首先说说在百姓连线的工作心得。在编辑部二个月的工作生活，我感触最深的就是，这里是我的第二个家，新闻工作可以在快乐中完成。编辑部的老师对我们这些新人亲切有加，在工作之余，以朋友的姿态经常和我们一起唱歌，坦怀聊天，非但不摆领导的架子，而且还以关爱之心在引导我们做好新闻工作，对我们这些新人投以真挚友情的目光，在工作中，只要你需要，他们随时给予热情地指导;工作之余，大家开怀谈笑，不分彼此。正因为如此，在编辑部的工作，让我体会了在愉快中完成工作的欢欣。
我在工作上的收获主要有：
1、基本了解使用和维护摄影机;
2、基本掌握了社会新闻的采写和区别;
3、基本了解编辑新闻摄像带的大致流程;
4、基本学会电视新闻稿的一些写作方法和技巧等。在这期间我不仅可以较好地配合各位师兄一同出去采访拍摄工作，还可以自己独立外出采写完成具体的新闻作品。一个月的时间，我配合各位师兄一起完成新闻采写近18篇，自己独立完成的采写作品1篇。老师每次安排的采访任务都可以顺利完成。
当然在这期间，工作上也存在着一些不足主要有：
1、新闻的采写比较古板，缺乏新意;
2、新闻的敏感性相对较差，特别是对与会议新闻相关联的社会性新闻把握不足等。
刚来的日子基本上都在接热线电话，帮助老师收集新闻线索。开始觉得有些枯燥，没意思。但后来发现，这些电话对于我们来说是非常重要的。要写出一篇好新闻，就要先找到线索。通过电话，我们就能在最快的时间内发现新闻，赶到新闻现场。
当我看到所记录的新闻线索变为一篇篇新闻播出，更加感到新闻线索的重要性了，对接电话这样的简单工作更是不敢马虎。也不再小瞧。每一个打进来的电话都会认真记录。以方便之后的采访工作。
老师告诉我们，在接电话的时候，我们需要问清楚事情大概的情况，对事情有一个初步的了解。并且时间久了之后，你会慢慢发现哪些事情是有新闻价值的，从而做出一篇完整的新闻。
第一次的采访显得有些紧张，对自己也没有信心，害怕犯错误。怕漏掉了一些环节对报道会有影响。这时，老师总是很耐心的指导我，告诉我哪些是很重要的部分，要询问清楚的，要仔细记录下来的。虽然第一次的采访，自己的表现有些慌乱，但毕竟已经跨出了一大步，从学校的书本课堂，走到了真实的新闻采访。
