Youth means a tempera-mental predominance of courage over timidity, of theappetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60more than a boy of 20. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow oldby deserting our ideals.

He had already passed sixty of the stages leading to it,and he had brought from his journey nothing but errors and remorse. Now hishealth was poor, his mind vacant, his heart sorrowful, and his old age short ofcomforts.

The days of his youth appeared like dreams before him, and he recalled theserious moment when his father placed him at the entrance of the two roads--oneleading to a peaceful,sunny place, covered with flowers, fruits and resoundingwith soft, sweet songs;the other leading to a deep , dark cave, which wasendless, where poison flowed instead of water and where devils and poisonoussnakes hissed and crawled.

He looked towards the sky and cried painfully," O, youth, return! O, myfather,place me once more at the entrance to life, and I'll choose the betterway!" But both his father and the days of his youth had passed away.

He saw the lights flowing away in the darkness. These were the days of hiswasted life;he saw a star fall from the sky and disappeared, and this was thesymbol of himself. His remorse, which was like a sharp arrow, struck deeply intohis heart. Then he remembered his friends in his childhood, who entered lifetogether with him. But they had made their way to success and were now honoredand happy on this New Year's night.

The clock in the high church tower struck and the sound made him rememberhis parents' early love for him. They had taught him and prayed to God for hisgood. But he chose the wrong way. With shame and grief he dared no longer tolook towards the heaven where his father lived. His darkened eyes were full oftears, and with a despairing effort, he burst out a cry:" Come back, my earlydays! Come back!"
高高的教堂钟楼传来敲钟声，这声音使他记起父母早年对他的疼爱。他们教育他，为他祈祷。然而，他却选择了错误的道路。羞愧和悲哀使他再也没有勇气仰望父亲所在的天堂。黯淡的双眼噙满了泪水，他绝望地嘶声大呼：”回来吧，我的往昔!回来吧!”
And his youth did return,for all this was only a dream, which he had on NewYear's night. He was still young though his faults were real; he had not yetentered the deep, dark cave, and he was still free to walk on the road whichleads to the peaceful and sunny land.

大家好，我是来自冀中霸州金彪调压站的赵宏发，我今天演讲的题目是《放飞青春，奉献冀中》。
大江东去浪淘尽，淘尽了秦汉的血雨腥风;冲走了唐宋的骄奢淫逸;流走了旧社会的黑暗腐朽，迎来了今天这个科技腾飞，经济发达的中国。二十一世纪，一切都有着天翻地覆的变化;二十一世纪，一个激烈竞争的时代;二十一世纪，对于城市燃气事业也是一个日新月异的时代，那就是昆仑燃气整合，冀中公司的成立，我们作为冀中公司的青年，肩负着祖国城市燃气未来的希望，我们应该放飞青春梦想，奉献冀中公司，拼搏燃气人生!
我是霸州公司投产，昆仑集团的重组，冀中公司的成立的亲历者，一路走来，荆棘满路。回想当初，霸州公司刚刚成立时，人员只有十几名，日供气量也只有一两万方，当时的工作环境已不能用艰苦来形容，而是痛苦。但我们怀着一颗年轻的心，抱着对城市燃气这个朝阳产业的憧憬，投入到战天斗地的工作中，经过领导的运筹帷幄，经过同事们的不懈努力，终于把霸州公司建设成现在员工近百，年销气量超亿，利润效益昆仑集团前茅的公司，我倍感骄傲，倍感自豪。
我来自基层的金彪调压站，对场站员工的工作、生活环境十分了解，在我们眼中，场站就是我们的战场，每一名场站员工，都是年轻的战士。面对风霜侵，年轻的激情便会旺盛的燃烧;历经雪雨淋，流出的汗水却能达到沸点;头顶烈日烤，黝黑的面庞上镶嵌着成熟的坚毅。面对前路，我们许下年轻的心愿，那就是“今天我以冀中为骄，明天冀中以我而傲”。
金彪站是一个年轻的场站，场站年轻，员工结构也年轻，但我们有一种初生牛犊不怕虎的冲击力，有能克服千难万苦的战斗力。每个冬季对于冀中公司来说都特别的“冷”，那就是气源紧张，管网压力告急。公司燃起气源保卫战的烽火，而我们站就在压力保卫战的最前线，CNG高压补气，大家都知道CNG压力高，危险系数大，稍有不慎就会有生命危险，这些我们也知道，但这是公司需要我们的时候，是任务更是使命，我们责无旁贷。这时候，年轻的激情吹起进攻的号角，凝结在一起的友情，形成无限的生力军，我们团结一心、众志成城，安全出色的度过了每一个冬季，用飞扬的青春勾勒出最美的图案。
都知道场站员工苦，但我们西风拌冷饭，照样能咽;都知道场站员工累，但我们汗珠子砸脚面，照样能干;都知道场站员工寂寞，月低风稀时，也会偷偷擦去想家的泪水。但这一切也只是成功路上的磨刀石，因为我们年轻，没有什么能消弱我们的战斗力，阻挡我们前进的步伐;因为我们年轻，没有什么能压垮我们倔强的脊梁;因为我们年轻，所以我始终相信只要我们自强不惜，坚持不懈的努力拼搏，追求我们的梦想，那冀中的明天会永远灿烂辉煌。精品学习网:
